Is the seborrhoeic keratosis arising adjacent to the Clark's nevus or in some fashion is one arising from the other? They have two very separate cell lines of origin, the seb k being keratinocytic and the Clark nevus melanocytic. The clinical image at Dermoscopy Atlas suggests an intimate association of the two.

The pathology is in line with both possibilities. (My) logic dictates that a collision by chance is more likely than a Clark's nevus arising from a seb k.
